This first month of school has been alright. It's not too hard, and it's not extremely simple. I've met a lot of new people, most of which are pretty cool. I think I can trust the school to always try and do what is best for me because none of my teachers have given me a pointless assignment yet. I also think I have earned the trust of the trust of the teachers and principal, because I have not done anything to disappoint them and I have also been committed to doing all of my work for my classes. So I think this month has been pretty good for me.
simply me.

I've been at Animo Venice for two weeks now, and I like most of my classes and the people here. There are still many people that I would like to know, but I have made new friends. I've gotten used to tucking in my shirt which was something I didn't think I would be able to do in two weeks, because I hadn't tucked in my shirt in a long time. I really like Mr. Carr's class, we've been learning about Martin Luther King Jr. and The Poor People's Campaign. I find it very interesting, but it's sad that nobody talks about it because they consider it one of M.L.K.'s failures. I have noticed that i get more homework now and that i really have to manage my time and be organized.

1. What did you learn in the first week of Technology/Leadership?
I learned how to use Macromedia Flash. I now know how to make a short animated movie. I also learned about trust, and what it really means.
2. What did you learn in the first week at Animo Venice?
I learned about the Poor People's Campaign and Martin Luther King Jr. I also learned many things about our environment, like global warming, and in English I learned how to make a life map, and to really think about the things that shape me.
3. How do you feel about high school so far?
This week went by pretty well, I made new friends and hung out with different people, but I did notice that high school is a lot more serious than middle school, and that I really have to pay attention all the time.
4.What do you need to do so that you can succeed in high school?
I need to learn how to manage my time, like being able to manage my school stuff and my social life. I also need to be really organized, and I definitely need to keep up with all of my assignments. I think I need to push myself to go beyond just "okay" work, and that will help me get good grades.
